Phyllis got her first laptop at age 75 and has written thousands of pieces of literature since. Most have been poems. Most are a bit irreverent. Many celebrate (or tease about) the foibles and follies of getting old. She won’t share her actual age, but “next year I will be 100.”
Phyllis is of the WWII generation. She was born, grew up and still lives in Dearborn, Michigan, where she writes, walks, does yoga and TaiChi – plays the xylophone and does crosswords most days of most weeks.
Being of Dearborn, the bio must have a car part: Phyllis has long preferred stick shifts with the convertible VW being her favorite. She laments having to sell her Jeep “because my old lady friends couldn't get their feet over the door dam”. She recently renewed both her driver’s license and passport, but doesn't drive or travel quite like she used to.
The best way to learn about Phyllis is to read her stuff: She has published two books: Alphabet Critters and The Rusty Tracks of the Quatrain - with her third due soon (Fall 2025 - stay tuned).
